She graduated from Dartmouth College with a concentration in creative nonfiction writing and High Honors in English, having completed her senior thesis Shark's Eye. She received the Sidney Cox Memorial Prize for this thesis, which was inspired by her deep obsession with sharks, as well as the Edward R. Perkins Literature Prize for excellence in English. She was also the winner of the Dartmouth Vermont Studio Center Fellowship, a month-long residency that she will participate in over the coming year. She also plans to spend the year after graduation developing her thesis into a publishable work and applying to MFA programs in creative nonfiction writing.
