Sadia Hassan wa tu yaab badan from Atlanta by way of Mudisho. She wears baatis in the street and writes like she speaks knowing full well she’ll be asked to erase that last sentence and start over in English. She’s currently studying Creative Writing and African/African-American Studies at Dartmouth so she won’t have to. Insha Allah, she hopes to spend the rest of her life by water, with her nieces and nephews and spirit mate, documenting joy and grief and gratitude.
Follow her on twitter, maybe, @haalman
