Jenna believes there is a difference between trust and naïveté. She likes to think she can indulge the former without the latter. She likes tea. She also likes the idea of tea: the promise to have a conversation at least until the cup is empty. Maybe that’s why she pours it and doesn’t drink it. She uses other third elements, excuses to ask silly and serious questions: in Singapore she did parkour, in Santiago she filmed, at Dartmouth she wrote. As she returns home to Zimbabwe, she tries to figure out if it is possible to settle and wander at the same time, and if not, which she will choose.
